Welcome to RelKey.
In 2007 CBS charged 2.6 million dollars for each 30 second spot to advertise during the Super Bowl. Does this sound ludicrous to you also? On the surface, it is ludicrous. “Millions of dollars for a half minute is nuts” says many commentators when reporting these numbers.
Like wise, one thousand of our keys and a key cutting machine will cost about $4,000. Does this sound ludicrous? I own RelKey and that much money for an 8” x 10” x 7” box of keys and a box of key cutting machine sounds high to me also.
The value of advertising is not the minute or the thing. There is no value in the half minute or full page magazine ad nor the 2 minute radio spot. The value is certainly not a decorated key with your name on it. The vehicle itself that delivers your name has little value.
The value of all advertising is found in the exposure of your message. One half minute of Super Bowl advertising will expose a message to 200,000,000 people for 30 seconds. That’s why companies will pay millions of dollars to fill all the spots on big television events. The cost per exposure is about $.0286 per household exposure.
One thousand of your decorated keys on the rings of your prospects as a working key will expose your message ten times a day, every day for the next four years. That is 14,600,000 exposures at $.00027 per exposures to the people you want to see your name and not the 2.2 people per household for a thirty second time slot.
Successful businessmen know that long term, consistent & effective advertising generates income and is actually free.
Real Keys… Real Advertising.
